Our eighth case study highlights the work of an ASID interior designer participating in the 1+ program (formally The 1% program) who teamed up with architects for a competition to create a speculative redesign of a hospital in Westchester, New York. CAMA, Inc. and MASS Design Group leave an impression on the industry through their holistic approach focused on sustainability and hospital user experience that challenges traditional understandings of medical facility design.

“The project has given me a beautiful example to take to other clients as a model of what can happen if they’re willing to go far out on the innovation curve line”
– Rosalyn Cama FASID
