Kiva Headquarters is the second of an on-going series of case studies that feature projects by the AIA members participating in the 1+ program (formally the 1% program) who are making pro bono service an integral part of design practice. The San Francisco-based international nonprofit, Kiva has the mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. STUDIOS Architecture provided Kiva with a new workspace that supports both their mission and culture within the constraints of a limited budget.

“The project has received positive press and has brought a new momentum to the pro bono program at STUDIOS.” – Andrew Clemenza
