PUBLIC INTEREST DESIGN: EVALUATING PUBLIC ARCHITECTURE

University of Texas School of Architecture’s Center for Sustainable Development collaborated with Public Architecture in 2012 and 2013 to host the Public Interest Design Externship Summer Program. Through post occupancy evaluations conducted by student externs, this collaborative report contributes to the research to better understand the true benefits, effect, and challenges inherent in eight recently completed public interest design projects located in San Francisco and Austin.
